- This chain of Chinese restaurants is popular for the romantic settings it offers and the fine cuisine at moderate prices. Each branch is a little different, but all lay heavy on the red and black color theme and traditional Chinese showpieces. The subdued lighting and soft music provide a cozy atmosphere, and the fine china tableware is very elegant. The menu is extensive and includes soups, salads, noodles and a variety of meat and seafood dishes. Start with crispy spring rolls or doughy won ton. The Szechuan beef is a little mild, but tastes delicious. The chicken and duck dishes - simmered in a variety of sauces - are usually very good, but the prawns with oyster mushrooms are the way to go. Alcohol is served.
