- Situated next to the Nile on Zamalek, Sequoia is a favourite haunt of fashionable young Cairenes. Sequoia serves a wide range of Egyptian, Lebonise and Mediterranean classics, and also has a decent sushi menu. As well as food, Sequoia has a wide selection of alcohol and best shisha in the city! Perfect for a late-afternoon lunch, Sequoia morphs after midnight into a nightclub playing Arab techno and house music. Open daily from 1 pm to 2 am.
