- Gabalaya Park, near el Gezira street, includes an aquarium. This cute place, where the fish inhabit aquariums built into tunnels that look like they were once bomb shelters, seems to be practically unknown to foreigners. Even if fish don't interest you, the park is still worth a visit for the respite it offers from the chaos of Cairo.
