    • Gezira Ground next to the Presidential Guards (Near to Sofitel Cairo El Gezirah Hotel) This museum, currently undergoing renovation and development, throws much light on the national roles of young Egyptian army officers who staged the bloodless revolution in 1952 and overthrew the monarchy. The Museum's 1,186 exhibits include the microphone used by late President Anwar Sadat to announce the Revolution's first communiqué and the first national flag raised in Sinai during the war in October in 1973. There are a number of photographs of late President Gamal Abdel-Nasser receiving heads of state, and his successor Anwar Sadat, a collection of busts of leaders Abdel-Nasser and Sadat; a collection of gifts and presents given to President Sadat; a group of commemorative stamps issued from 1952 to 1960 to mark the anniversary of the revolution; and a collection of historical documents.
