• great series of monastaries containing the remains of many many saints for ex: anba Moussa el esswed and many other great ones. beatiful places. they consist of 4 monataries; three monastaries near each others: virgin Mary's monastary, El Sourian monastary and anba Bishor monastary. the 4th one is Abou Makar monastary. you will have to rent a car for this tour because they are in the desert. it is important that visitors wear decent clothing; no shorts, sleevless shirts...etc
