Hi!
Cairo is a city that can satisfy the economical need of everyone. You can find the most luxurious restaurants, but also the most popular and cheap ones.
Regarding cafeteria, the so-called "ahwa balady" are for sure the cheapest you can find, and they are located all over the city. If you want a women-friendly one go to Downtown or Mohandeseen, or the ones in the famous bazar called Khan el Khalili. In here you can pay, for example, 10LE for 2 teas and 1 shisha. If you want something more fancy then you can go to places like Pottery in Zamalek, Cilantro, Costa Coffe, Starbucks, and all these international chains. Still cheap, but definitely more expensive than any ahwa balady.
Enjoy your outings, and let me know if you need more details!
