If you hire a taxi to pyramids do they wait for you there and take you around? Do they charge per trip?

No they usually don't wait, but its easy to find another one once your done and want to leave, and yes they charge per trip. also theres the option to hire a taxi for the whole day in that case they will wait for you put you will have to pay more.

YES AND you have to know how much you will him before you take him and if he stay with you all day give him max 500 Egyptian pounds with tips all.and you will see lots of people want you to talk,take picture for you,take camel ride or sell anything for you please do not talk w them.

Yes, if you asked for that, but he will surely charge you for that. MY ADVICE: only take the new white taxis and NEVER take an old white& black taxi.

Yes if he will accompany you all day.
No, as maybe some taxi drivers refuse to do that as they have other business, so easily you can finish your visit to The Pyramids & hire another one to go back.
Taxies here are not so expensive, it can charge you about 150 EGP if accompanied you all day, & per trip it depends on the place he will pick you from.
