A great-value country hacienda, only 6km (3 3/4 miles) from the Plaza de Armas in Cajamarca, this pretty house with beautiful gardens and comfortable, nicely decorated but simple rooms is an excellent option for a relaxed stay. Owned by the same people who run a similarly named inn in town, this cozy Spanish-style hacienda doesn't have the funky character of San Vicente or the classy luxury of Puruay, but it's a great middle-of-the-road choice. Almost unheard of at this price, the hotel has tennis courts, football fields, games for children, horseback riding, and trails for walking.
