• This is one monstrous, loud, wild movie experience, and the hordes of moviegoers jamming their way inside this suburban Calgary multiplex seem to suggest it's a formula that works. Set in a massive, coliseum-style building, the central area houses all the main services, such as ticketing and food kiosks, while the 10 individual theaters are on the perimeter. What brings people in, is the steep stadium seating that makes it nearly impossible for someone to sit in front of you and ruin your view of the screen. Even basketball centers can avoid blocking lines of sight. The seats are also comfy and provide a good in-your-face look at a wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling screen supported by crisp, heart-massaging digital sound. Open hours are seasonal and extended during summer.
