  • Everybody loves Italian food! It's so simple, yet so filling. Italians have a way of satisfying diners, and in Calgary there's no shortage of Italian restaurants that do just that. Whether you're looking for a budget eatery or something fancy, there's an Italian place for you in Calgary.

    Fiore on 17th Ave. is right across from Western Canadian High School, but don't let the high schoolers scare you away. This restaurant is quaint and delicious. The portions are very filling for a reasonable price. Here, it's the pasta that is front and center, and they don't disappoint.

    Rea's is a good place to eat on a budget. Located on Edmonton Trail, it is relatively new on the Calgary scene, although it's more of a re-birth than a real launch. The pizza at Rea's is very good, and it really sets the restaurant apart.

    Spolumbo's is Inglewood's pride and joy. This deli style sausage restaurant has grown to become a Calgary staple over the years. Founded by ex-Stampeders, it's about as Calgarian as can be. But, the quality of the food is great, the atmosphere is fun, and the price is very fair.
