Gaucho Brazilian BBQ

  • Cuisines: Brazilian
  • NileGuide Expert Says:

Nothing is quite as Albertan as a BBQ steak. This is a great twist on BBQ and something quite unique.

  • NileGuide Expert tip:

Gaucho is just down the street from Bolero, which is Calgary's other Brazilian BBQ. If one is busy, try the other. Both are great.

    Description:

    • Chef Edmilson Rodrigues brought Gaucho Brazilian BBQ to Calgary in 2007. This is an authentic Churrascaria BBQ with Rodizio service . Using large skewers, the waiters will bring you as much meat as you can handle for as long as you want. The variety of meats and flavors is out-standing, and this style of eating can take several hours to truly appreciate. Gaucho's atmosphere is distinct, yet appropriate for Calgary's cowboy culture. This is one of the best ways to enjoy BBQ. They also offer lunch specials, for those who can't spare several hours for dinner.

      Good selection

    • The meat was very good and the salad/other meat bar was even better. Word of warning, be prepared for a lot of red meat. Other than that, reasonably priced, quick and attentive servers...
