  • Located in Calgary's historic Stanley House, Laurier Lounge bills itself as the restaurant with a "French accent", and it shows. Well crafted tapas, fondue are accompanied by a lengthy Martini and Wine list, serenaded by French piano music every night from 6 – 10 PM. This is not your casual neighborhood bar, and the stunningly attractive staff demonstrates this – get dressed up and treat yourself to an evening of intimate sophistication. Nibble choices include Bacon Wrapped Dates, Classic Garlic Escargot, Poutine with Free Range Beef and caramelized onions, and a wide selection of fondues. The cheeky martini menu includes A Liberal Spank (Vodka, Triple Sec, Chambord, Lime), and the wine menu includes vintages from around the world.

    Great burger

  • This a great place to go in the non rush hour times, other wise it can get a bit crowded. The tables are quite close together. The food is good. I really liked their Warren Buffet Burger.
