Description:

  • Mirchi, in Calgary's Beltline district, strives to represent a variety of cuisines from India and Pakistan, drawing from a variety of traditions in the Northwest Region of these countries. Owner Amjad Shehzad recreates favorite dishes from his youth in Pakistan, freshly prepared and perfectly spiced. Kababs, Tikkas, Curries and ever changing specials will surely fill your belly. Be warned, the spicy kebab is just that, and the Goat Curry is addictive. Finish your meal at Mirchi with a Lahori Kulfi (ice cream made from boiled milk, flavored with vanilla, mango or pistachio), a deliciously creamy counterpoint to the previous savory spice.
