- The Silver Inn is one of Calgary's oldest and best Peking restaurants. It has been around for over two decades, and longevity in restaurants can only be attributed to one thing: great food! They have an extensive menu, which includes grilled dumplings, chicken and cashews in yellow bean sauce, hot and sour soup, and, of course, the delectable ginger fried beef. For more than 20 years they have been serving Calgary patrons. This is the home of ginger beef--where it was first started. Look on the menue for a diffreent name also cinsider there...
