- Come spend your summer lunches listening to Calgary's largest musical instrument. The Jack Singer Concert Hall houses the magnificent Carthy Organ; a huge and powerful organ composed of 6,040 individual pipes. The sound that resonates from this beautiful instrument is breathtaking, and these concerts are a perfect way to wile away a noon hour. Different musicians play the organ every week, and while the organ is worth over CAD750,000, the concerts are free. Bring your lunch. Concerts are every Tuesday during July and August at 12:10p. See website for yearly particulars.
