• CrossIron Mills opened fairly recently. It's just north of Calgary in Balzac. This mall is the largest indoor mall in Canada, and it has 230 stores. Many of the stores are 'outlets' which offer merchandise at a bit of a discount. For most Canadians, outlets have been a luxury reserved for trips to the USA, but they are slowly beginning to open up here, too. The BassPro Shop is a first for Alberta, and it is truly a massive store with all the goods necessary to enjoy the wild spaces throughout Alberta. Most of the major brand names are also part of CrossIron Mills.
