Firefighters Museum of Calgary

Description:

  • The Scotiabank Saddledome, the BMO Centre, and the Stampede Grounds are some of the busiest places in Calgary. But, just east of downtown, in the old Warehouse District, there is another attraction of a different sort: The Firefighters Museum of Calgary. It collects and preserves the history of Calgary's firefighters with photographs and artifacts dating back to the early 1900's. There are 13 fire trucks to explore, a few dating back to 1929, and over three thousand other artifacts. It is a perfect place to go for a family outing.
