Heritage Day at Fort Calgary

Description:

  • Built as Fort Brisebois in 1875, Fort Calgary is the home of Calgary's history. Developed and maintation by the Preservation Society the fortis now used to attract both locals and visitors alike. The society aims at preserving the heritage of Calgary and organizes tours, children's programs and campaigns to promote the same. Open all week, the fort has its own restaurant and rents out space for weddings and parties. The fort is also a favorite venue for local festivals and fairs happening throughout the year
