Description:
- Each summer the noise of the football-tossers and off-leash poodles in Prince's Island Park is tempered by the dignified sounds of Elizabethan verse, as drama students perform informal and creative takes on the works of Sir William. This is by no means stuffy theatre, and the troupe's interpretations of the plays are always entertaining. (One summer, Macbeth was a Japanese Samurai). Two of Shakespeare's plays are presented each year, each performed on alternating evenings (except Mondays). Performances are free, but cast members solicit CAD10 donations after each show.
