Description:

  • There is something downright pagan about this place. Once every month with a full moon, on the Thursday, local poets gather werewolf-like for a night of spoken word. The unique poetry reading series unfolds at the Danny Sponagle Centre for Mischief & Imagination and features readings of verse, prose and other creative howlings—sometimes accompanied by music. A dance follows the readings, and beverages are consumed. This is an opportunity to hear some of Calgary's most unique voices, so mark your lunar calendar.
