Description:
Cozy and historically authentic, this restaurant occupies a trio of dining rooms with beamed and/or vaulted ceilings, which, in some cases, are hundreds of years old. Menu items include fresh house-marinated sardines, rack of lamb with white beans, Zwiebelrostbraten, monkfish braised in olive oil with herbs, and several kinds of schnitzel. Although the food never reaches the sublime, it's always fresh and competently prepared.
