Vagabond Lodge

• Kicking Horse Mountain Resort offers a large and growing selection of lodging options, but one of the best is this handsome, small boutique-style hotel. The log-built Vagabond Lodge has beautifully appointed public areas, including a lobby filled with overstuffed chairs and couches, a hand-split log bar and a dining area, and a central, pine-spindled staircase, all warmed by an enormous stone fireplace. The guest rooms are large and furnished with woodsy good taste, with such features as feather-rest mattresses and duvets, heated bathroom floors, and balconies (six of the rooms). Breakfast is included in rates. The owners are very friendly and will do their best to ensure that you have a great stay. Highly recommended.
