In the heart of downtown's Baker Street district, Fusion offers a selection of small plates and "bigger things" in an extremely and numerous (40-plus) array of styles and flavors, all matched with excellent wine selections. During winter, the restaurant is confined to the snug dining room, but in summer the entire enterprise spills out onto the street, more than doubling the zone of tapas consumption. Start out with jumbo prawns stuffed with goat cheese, garlic, and herbs, or individual lamb chops with emerald mint sauce. The menu's larger dishes include wild B.C. salmon with wild mushroom ragout and portobello mushrooms stuffed with artichoke and Manchego cheese. Still hungry? Head back for decadent favorites like French Canadian poutine or Indian butter chicken.
