Canada Day Celebration

• Canadian pride is out at full force every July 1 when the country celebrates the anniversary of the uniting of Upper and Lower Canada, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia to create the Dominion of Canada in 1867. Red and white abound, and special events run throughout the nation. Jasper joins in the celebration with excitement for the whole family. Festivities include a pancake breakfast, parade, flag raising, music, entertainment, and children activities in and around Jasper National Park. The fireworks at night are a fitting end to a grand patriotic day of fun.
