Panorama Mountain Village Ski Hill

• Panorama is right in the middle of all of the other major ski areas in Alberta and BC. It's 3 hours south to Fernie (2 to Kimberley), 1.5 hours north to Golden (4 to Revelstoke), and 2 hours east to Lake Louise or Sunshine. It's 3.5 hours to Calgary, too. This is a good ski hill, which has some great scenic views. The 9 lifts and 120 runs make for limited congestion. Snow is not all natural, though, as they make about 40% of it. The lights come on in the evening for night skiing until 9pm, which is a unique experience. Panorama's nearest town is Invermere, which has everything you need.
