• Located just 11 miles/18 km southeast of the town of Invermere and 3 hours east of Calgary, Panorama Mountain Village is known best for its family-friendly atmosphere and its incredible vertical drop. With a base elevation of 3,875 feet/ 1,180 meters and a vertical of 4,000 feet/ 1220 meters, Panorama is popular with intermediate- and advanced-level skiers. Beginner and expert skiers will find a good selection of groomed runs as well. Its 2,847 acres/ 1,152 hectares offers plenty of room to ski, snowboard and snowmobile.  Children's activities are extensive both on and off the slopes, with multi-day ski camps and lots of indoor and evening activities.
  
  Panorama's recent expansion of its night skiing terrain means that ski and snowboard aficionados can shred the slopes until 9 pm, 7 days a week. Backcountry skiers who enjoy cross-country will find plenty of terrain in the Purcell Mountains. Heliskiing is within minutes from the resort.
  
  Panorama's pedestrian village is multi-season and features shopping, fine dining, mountain biking and an 18-hole golf course during the summer months.
