Revelstoke Railway Museum

Description:

  • It's the railroad that really put Revelstoke on the map, and this noteworthy museum -- built to resemble an original Canadian Pacific Railway shop -- tells the story of western Canadian rail history. Its collection of antique rolling stock includes a beautifully restored CPR steam engine from the 1940s. Other exhibits focus on the building of the first transcontinental line across Canada and the communications systems that kept the trains running safely.
