Fun Things to Do in Cancun

  • Everyone loves to have fun and Cancun is definitely the place to find it. There are bar-hopper tours and booze cruises, which give you a hint as to how Cancun got the reputation of being a party town. But, even if you don't want to party like a rock star, there are still plenty of fun activities to do, in Cancun.

    The Cancun Underwater Museum is Cancun's latest attraction. You can take a snorkel or dive excursion and see the underwater sculptures.
    If that's not your thing, maybe spending a day at Wet'n Wild water park, or racing through the lagoon in a small speedboat would more fun for you.

    If you are looking for an adrenaline rush, taking a ride on the Shotover Jet boat, or taking a zip-line tour are just what you are looking for.

    Some people prefer to see the sights at a more relaxed pace and, for those people, there is the Cancun Duck Tour. This tour starts out with a driving tour of Cancun's hotel zone, but it doesn't end there. Mid-way through the excursion, the amphibious vehicle drives into the Nichupte Lagoon and the tour continues from the water. It's a fun tour that appeals to all ages.

    The Hummer Jungle tour is another fun tour that allows you to see some of the area's coolest attractions, at a leisurely pace...and while traveling in a Hummer. How much more fun can you ask for?

    And, if that's not enough fun for you, definitely check out the Tequila Herradura Museum and do a tequila tasting. You'll learn a bit about the history of tequila, during the tour, and then you'll move into the tasting room for the highlight of your visit...sampling tequila, Mexico's national drink.
