Cancun's bus station is located right in the center of "el Centro", the downtown area. If you take the ADO bus transfers from the airport into Cancun, you'll arrive at the bus station. You will also use the bus station if you wish to travel by bus to Playa del Carmen, Tulum, or any other part of Mexico.
There are several hotels near the bus terminal, but the closest is Hotel Plaza Caribe, which is located just across the parking lot from the bus station. Hotel Alux, a clean, no-frills hotel that is easy on the wallet, is just down the street, on Avenida Uxmal.
Radisson Hotel Hacienda Cancun, Ramada Cancun City, Sens Cancun, and B2B Malecon Plaza Hotel are the nicest hotels in downtown Cancun, but all are too far from the bus terminal to walk. There is a taxi stand at the main entrance of the bus station though.
