• Cuisines: Seafood, Fusion
  • NileGuide Expert Says:

One of the best places to watch the sunset, in Cancun. Very romantic restaurant. The perfect place for a small wedding, rehearsal dinner, anniversary, or a proposal.

  • NileGuide Expert tip:

Call ahead to reserve one of the private, over-the-water tables, located on the pier. Try the Tamarind Margaritas. They are out of this world!

    Description:

    • JC Capitan is located across the street from Sun Palace and Hotetur Beach Paradise.  You have to walk down a flight of stairs to get there.  From the street, you can't tell much about the place but, inside, the restaurant is absolutely gorgeous.  The entire place is sitting atop the Nichupte Lagoon and you can hear the water lapping up onto the shore (beneath the restaurant), while you dine.  You can sit inside, under the giant palapa (thatched roof), or at one of the tables out on the pier.  The private tables on the pier are the perfect spot to spend an incredibly romantic evening.

The food is fresh and delicious, the service is top-notch, and the view can't be beat.  The menu is primarily seafood, but there are a few beef & chicken dishes as well.

For an wonderful & unforgettable dining experience, check out JC Capitan.
