- The botanical garden of Puerto Morelos has unique flora that belongs to the the Yucatan peninsula. It is worth all the money to hire the service of a guide as they have a wide knowledge of the plants and of the history of Puerto Morelos; They also have the ability to spot the wild life. Make sure that you use mosquito repellent.
