    • 2 hours drive from Puerto Morelos and 35 minutes of ferry to reach the island of Holbox. Can go back and forth on the same day. However, a night in Holbox can be very relaxing. Many locations to stay over night and for all the budgets, from a camp ground to some guest-houses. Best time to go from June to September while the whale shark are near the coast of the island.
