Mexican Armada Parade

• September 16th is Mexico's Independence Day and to celebrate, there are different patriotic events throughout the country. In Cancun, like in many other towns, a traditional military parade takes place every year, with the attendance of students from local schools and hundreds or even thousands of patriots and curious tourists alike taking part. This event counts on the contribution of the local police and the Army who march for approximately one- and a-half hours through the town center.
