Parque de las Palapas

Description:

• El Parque de las Palapas is a large park in downtown Cancun. There are many food vendors in the park, as well as a playground for children.  The park's centerpiece, a large stage, is where concerts and shows are held throughout the year. Local artisans set up booths in the park, where they sell their wares.  Small cars for children are available for rent in the park and kids drive the mini-sports cars and monster trucks around with glee. Families gather in the park during the evenings to have a meal, or to let their children play.
