Going to Cancun in July this year. Is it hot there in July? Any drug wars? what's the coolest and not expensive to do there. lots of thanx

Well to answer your first question...NO drugs wars in Cancun.
I live in Cancun and walk around all hours of the day and night without worry.
I don't live in the Hotel Zone but in town with the normal people :>)
The only fighting between drug lords here is over dinner reservations.

July can be very hot and when the wind stops (at times) it can be brutal.
Early sailing ship Captains referred to the summer months in the Caribbean as the Doldrums.

Cool cheap thing to do: Go to Isla Mujeres on the Ultra or take a day trip on the ADO Bus to Playa.
