YOU MUST BE STAYING IN A DIFFERENT CANCUN, I AM AGREEDED WITH FABIAN, NO RAIN JUST LITTLE SHOWERS OF FEW MINUTES, HOWEVER YOU CAN TAKE YOUR KIDS FOR SHOPPING TO AN INDOORS SHOPPING MALL, TRY PLAZA KUKULCAN , YOU CAN GO TO PLAYCITY AND MAKE SOME MONEY ON THE SLOT MACHINES OR SOUTH 203 FOR BALLING , OR PLAZA FORUM HARD ROCK CAFE OR SENIOR FROG'S, WAVE RUNNERS ETC. THERE I PLENTY OF THINGS TO DO, REGARDS ERNESTO

Go shopping to La Isla mall, is the best option when it's a rainy day... maybe you will meet some girls there as well, buy something to them and then invite them to go out in the night.. lol! good luck!

The best thing about Cancun is you normally participate in water activities, so if it rains, you were going to be wet anyways. Go on a mini excursion like the Jungle Tour. It's only two and a half hours, a lot of fun, and perfect as a last minute activity. They normally have several departures each day. You could always catch a movie in down town at Plaza Las Americas and have the "Mexican" movie experience, which is different if you go to the VIP. (You can put hot sauce on your popcorn, have bar service directly to your seats, and either watch a movie in Spanish or in English with subtitles. If you want English, make sure the movie says "subtitulada" - subtitles.) You can go to Market 28, because a majority of that is all covered as well. 2.02 in Kukulkan has bowling and arcade games as well and is another option. Good luck and don't let a little rain spoil a great vacation filled with water activities. Remember, if rain is in the forecast for the next day, don't be afraid to book excursions to Chichen Itza or the Riviera Maya. Places like these are about an hour and a half to two and a half hours away; are all day trips, and have lots of activities and fun things to do for people of all ages. I recommend excursions with Altournative because they incorporate a variety of great activities from zip lining, swimming in cenotes, snorkeling, hiking, kayaking, repelling, and more; all served with an authentic Mayan lunch. It's a great way to spend the day and avoid the rain. As many people have responded, normally the rain here comes and goes pretty quick, so don't get too discouraged. I hope this helps. :)

Well at this moment it is pouring, but hey be optimistic, you can take them shopping at any of the nice malls in the Hotel strip, or you can go to the movies, at the mall La Isla, or just hang around your hotel and have some fun and quality time with them. rememeber that the rain only last a couple of minutes, adn the sun will be out tomorrow.
