You can also consider cab or limo to Playa del Carmen, more downscale and romantic, with nice restaurants on the beachfront and on fifth avenue

I agree with the first person that answered you. Lorenzillo's is one of the favorites of honeymooners beacuase it's located in the lagoon, it's like a floating restaurant and they specialize in lobster

As most have answered, you should go to Lorenzillo's best if you and your wife like lobster you can't go wrong you can check out their website it's www.lorenzillos.com.mx, Pueto Madero as someone answered is very good but the meat dishes are better than the seafood.

great congratulations.. i live here. and for romantic restaurants there is a boat that the specialty is lobster at the sunset in a lagoon really romantic, or playa del carmen AMAZING.

try the Thai Lounge in La Isla mall... it's right on the lagoon, and you can catch the sunset around 7p.m. You will need to reserve one of these special bungalow booths they have over the water.
