• Journées du Patrimoine, this annual event takes place throughout France, on the weekend closest to September 15. Admission to museums is free, and many other buildings of interest that are normally closed to the public, open their doors for this occasion. It's a unique opportunity to discover city's hidden treasures. This is a popular event and places tend to get very busy! You can call the local tourist board for information on museums taking part in the event. Regular participants include the Malmaison, Museo de la Castre and the Notre-Dame des Pins Church.
