Description:

  • Caves along this mostly flat, sandy trail became cowboy campsites from the 1800s until 1975. Interpretive signs share the history with hikers. Prehistoric pictographs (wall paintings depicting ancient pursuits) are also available to view. Two wooden ladders must be climbed which might be unsafe for the very young or the uncoordinated, so proceed at your own risk.
