Description:

  • The total trail is on the long side (17 miles round-trip), but is a favorite with hikers. It can be shortened considerably if you simply hike out as long as you want, then turn back when you're done. Be aware that you'll spend a fair amount of time clambering over rocks and boulders - this can make the trail seem longer than it really is. There is little shelter along the trail, so summer visitors should bring extra water and wear sunscreen.
