Glenora Inn & Distillery

• So, when was the last time you spent the night at a distillery? This distiller of single-malt whiskey added nine modern rooms in a building next to the pub (which in turn is located next to the actual distillery). It all has the feel of being in a remote vale in the Scottish highlands. The architecture is contemporary yet rustic, but the real attraction is easy access to said pub and restaurant on the premises, which often features live performers from the area. Honeymooners will appreciate the half-dozen modern chalets, located on the hills overlooking the distillery: Each has a Jacuzzi, satellite TV, and a wonderful view of the mist-covered valley below. (Do be prepared for a bone-rattling ride up the hill on a gravel road.) These chalets are available in one-, two-, or three-bedroom configurations.
