Description:
New owners have taken over the Highland Heights, which was already a well-managed motel with clean, well-maintained rooms. But it's different from all the other well-run motels in one critical way: the views. Every room has a view of the lake bordering on the spectacular. The second-floor rooms cost a little more, but they're worth the splurge if only for the included balconies from which you can watch the water's shifting moods. (These rooms are also a bit larger and brighter.) All the motel's units have fans and windows that open. The motel's dining room is open for three meals daily and features home-style cooking.
