Description:

• These spare, modern cottages (constructed in 1997) each have two bedrooms and full housekeeping facilities, including microwaves. They may have a bit of an antiseptic condo air, but they are nevertheless well equipped with TVs and VCRs, gas barbecues for firing up steaks, coffeemakers, decks, and wood stoves; some even have Jacuzzis and fireplaces as well. The best feature, though, is the grand view northward toward the coastal mountains. (Cottage nos. 1, 2, 4, and 5 have the best vistas.) The lodge added apartments to the walkout basements beneath two of the cottages in 1999, which impinges slightly on the privacy of those both upstairs and down, and also added a three-bedroom cottage very recently.
