- The Lobster Hutt has been offering its unique eating experience "in the rough" for several years. Eating here is fun, casual and sometimes quite livelyandmdash;ideal for families. You are expected to make a mess while cracking open and eating the lobster, clams or fish you've chosen. A red boat sits atop this funky building on the edge of a tiny Wellfleet inlet, and it is just a short ride off Route 6, near the center of Wellfleet. The restaurant does not have a liquor license.
