  • Bust out your salmon-colored pants and fishing rod, because when looking for things to do in Cape Cod, you're going to want to blend in. If you go to the Cape, you absolutely must see the Cape Cod National Seashore. It is true Cape Cod. Cape Cod National Seashore offers stunning vistas and a glimpse into the natural and cultural history of the area. The park boasts six swimming beaches, but also nature trails, picnic areas, freshwater ponds, historic lighthouses and Cape Cod-style residences.

For a photo history of JFK, visit The John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum. For years the Kennedys have vacationed at their summer home in Hyannis Port. While the compound is private, visitors to this museum can get a glimpse of what this special place meant to the 35th president through video and photo displays. In them, John F. Kennedy is shown relaxing at the place he called "the one place I can think and be alone." A memorial to John F. Kennedy, Jr., who died in a plane crash, was recently added.

For some adventure golf, check out Pirate's Cove Mini Golf. A round of mini golf on a warm summer night is something of a Cape Cod tradition. Instead of windmills and still statues, you'll golf through caves, by waterfalls and around a pirate ship. There is a Captain's Course as well as the Blackbeard's Challenge Course. Even the locals recommend this place. From fishing to summertime concerts, there's no shortage of things to do in Cape Cod.
