Description:
- We strive to serve local organic produce wherever possible. Our guests can order organic boxes (seasonal mixed fruit & veggies) through us. And they can visit weekly organic farmers' markets on the peninsula (Noordhoek, Kommetjie, and Scarborough). Mountain hiking up Chapman's Peak and/or through Silvermine Nature Reserve offers an accessible wilderness experience with spectacular views over the South Peninsula. Numerous other scenic walks and trails. Horse Riding on Noordhoek beach is very popular as well as surfing and boogie boarding. Whales, dolphins and seals are common to see while walking or jogging on the beach. Noordhoek Farm Village provides the visitor with endless hours of shopping . The coffee shop, 3 restaurants and a pub provide the visitor with something to eat and drink, while the farm stall offers freshly grown organic vegetables and home made bread and other bakery. Swimming with penguins is possible at Boulders Beach. Your children will love it too because it is protected from wind and currents. Or try one of the tidal pools, e.g. at St. James and Buffel Bay. Whale watching between May & November, which can be combined with riding your bike on Chapman's Peak Drive. Picnics and wine tasting on one of the fabulous wine farms on the peninsula.
