Radisson Hotel Waterfront

Description:

• The Radisson is on the outskirts of the Waterfront (500m/1,640 ft. from the mall entrance), but enjoys an exceptional setting -- right on the sea. And Beach Road also has a great selection of restaurants, with a long promenade that sees joggers and in-line skaters every morning and evening. Given its "almost" Waterfront location and great seaside location, the price (which has, sadly, made a rather large leap up) is probably fair, though given the kind of money they're asking, service standards could be improved. That said, almost every room -- furnished in dark blues and gold, with a nautical theme -- has an excellent sea view, the infinity pool (irritatingly small) is right on the ocean's edge, and Tobago's, the hotel restaurant, has a large outside terrace overlooking the ocean -- a popular meeting place for locals after work.
