La Petite Ferme - Cape Town

  • Description:

    • A Victorian-style, country farmhouse restaurant perched on a mountain pass, with lawns unfolding into vineyards and the vast valley beyond, La Petite Ferme enjoys an incredible setting. The lace-trimmed house is decorated in Provencal yellows and blues, topped by a reed ceiling. The main restaurant is in two inter-leading rooms, each with its own fireplace. You also have the option to dine on the large veranda overlooking the valley. Enjoy fresh, honest fare made using the farm's own herbs and fruit. Tuck into gourmet lamb's liver with a sweet onion and bacon sauce or the traditional Cape Malay chicken curry. Marinated in red wine with tomato, chilli and herbs, this is also where you'll find the best calamari in Franschhoek. A fair selection of wines are available at good prices.
