Description:

  • The Mansions offers the perfect atmosphere for romantic candlelit dinners - with privacy, slick service and a baby grand tinkling at night, you couldn't ask for more. The restaurant is set in a Sir Herbert Baker designed sea-front hotel. Rather than a sea view, it faces the hotel's colonnaded inner courtyard with its gently cascading, fountain centrepiece. The spicy menu draws from the Pacific Rim, Cape Malay and Mediterranean influences. You'll definitely get one of the best seafood platters here, with crayfish, linefish and prawn peri-peri. There is a good selection of wines with quite a few imports.
