- In between Stellenbosch and Paarl along the R44 is an amazing experience waiting to be had at Butterfly World. Butterfly World is an amazing venue to see thousands of butterflies and learn more about this fascinating species. In the flight display house, occasionally one can even see a butterfly emerging from its pulpa. Upon request a group guide can be arranged. It is recommended that large groups book tickets beforehand but otherwise small groups can walk in. Butterfly World is open from 9:00 to 17:00 every day of the year except December 25, and closes a bit earlier at 16:00 in June and July. There is no time limit for visiting guests. -Joel Bronkowski
